Randy Maniloff is an attorney at White and Williams, LLP in Philadelphia. He concentrates his practice in the representation of insurers in coverage disputes over primary and excess obligations under a host of policies, including commercial general liability, various types of professional liability policies and all manner of specialty policies. Randy has significant experience addressing additional insured coverage and contractual indemnity issues.

He is an adjunct professor at Temple University's Beasley School of Law where he teaches Insurance Law. Randy also publishes Coverage Opinions, an insurance coverage newsletter that reports and provides commentary on just-released coverage decisions, looks at the lighter side of the law and includes Randy's interviews with some of the nation's most famous lawyers.

Randy is the co-author of General Liability Insurance Coverage – Key Issues In Every State (5th Edition, 2021). Insurance Key Issues is an 1,100 page two-volume desk reference book that quickly and conveniently provides the law in every state for 20 important liability coverage issues.

For the past 22 years, Randy has published a year-end article that addresses the ten most significant insurance coverage decisions of that year. Randy has also published over a dozen articles on The Wall Street Journal editorial page addressing a variety of legal issues.

He has been quoted on insurance coverage topics by numerous media, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Dow Jones Newswires and Associated Press.

Randy has been elected to the American College of Coverage Counsel and The American Law Institute. In 2020 he was named "Insurance Lawyer of the Year," for Philadelphia, by Best Lawyers.
